The model is built from the Lego Wedo 2.0 educational kit. To move the plane around the axis, two gears are used – a worm gear (to reduce speed) and a bevel gear (to convert the rotation from horizontal to vertical). The distance sensor is used to implement an algorithm for calculating the speed of the plane.
