The Little Ship is built from the Lego Wedo 2.0 educational kit. The simulation of the ship moving across the waves is achieved via a three-stage belt drive that powers the wheels mounted on axles; this ensures continuous wheel rotation, allowing the ship to travel “across the waves.” Movement and subsequent changes in direction are controlled by a distance sensor.
