The model of Lifting door is built from the Lego Wedo 2.0 educational kit. The model uses several mechanical transmissions. To transfer rotation from the motor to the drive gears, a worm and belt drive are used. And for the forward movement of the door up and down, a rack and pinion is used. The model starts working when an object enters the range of the distance sensor.
The set includes step-by-step building instructions and an example of program (in Lego Wedo 2.0 environment).
