The Brick Sorter is built from the Lego Wedo 2.0 educational kit. The sorter drive is made on a combination of spur and belt drives. After loading a black or azure brick into the receiving hatch, the distance sensor recognizes the correspondence to a particular color, after which the “tape” directs the brick to the left or right.
