The model is built from the Lego Wedo 2.0 educational kit. Three interlocking gears were used for lifting forks – belt, worm and rack. The first two transmit rotation from the motor, and the rack transmission converts the rotational type of motion into translational. The distance sensor is installed at the marks “minimum” and “maximum” – to operate and choose right direction when the pitchfork reaches the corresponding mark.
